Izmir / Pamukkale / Konya / Cappadocia / Istanbul
Day 01 - Arrival at the Izmir airport. Visit
to the ruins of Ephesus. Drive to Izmir
for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 02 - Full day excursion to Pergamon and Thyatira. Return
to Izmir for dinner
and overnight stay.
Day 03 - Drive to Pamukkale. Visits to Sardis, Philadelphia and
Laodicea. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04 - Drive to Konya. Visits to the
Mausoleum of Mevlana,the theological school of whirling dervishes, the Mosque of Aladdin and
the Karatay Medrese. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05 - Visit to Cappadocia. Dinner and
overnight stay.
Day 06 - Full day tour in Cappadocia. Dinner and
overnight stay.
Day 07 - Visit to Ankara. Flight
from Ankara to Istanbul in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 08 - Full day tour in Istanbul including
visits to the Archaeological Museum, the St. Sophia, the Hippodrome, the Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum and
the Topkapi Palace. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 09 - Cruise on the Bosphorus with a private
boat. The tour ends at Tarabya.
In the afternoon, visits to the private collection of the Sadberk Hanim Museum and
the Grand
Bazaar. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10 - Transfer to the airport for the outgoing flight.
The tour is on half board basis including breakfast and dinner daily

Pick up from the hotel at sunrise. There are over 30 different departure points
to ensure the most interesting flight path. Preparation of the equipment takes
20 minutes and the passengers are welcome to help or to take photographs as
they wish. The flight time is between 1-1,5 hours and includes both low contour
flying and also flying high enough to see the landscape from above. After the
landing and pack up of the balloon, an excellent local champagne and the flight
certificates are presented before returning to the hotel for a late breakfast.
